Air Training Corps

The Air Cadets offer a wide range of exciting activities, all of which are open to the cadets at 1557 squadron. These include Flying many types of aircraft including the Grob Tutor, Gliding in state-of-the art fibreglass gliders, Sports, Shooting the No 8 / .22 and the L98 - A1 rifles, Adventure Training, Annual Camps and the Duke of Edinburgh Award.

All activities in the ATC are run by qualified and competent staff; the health and safety of cadets participating in activities is our primary concern. As such, all activities are approved, properly planned, risk assessed and insured by the Air Cadet Organisation.
