Swimming Success for Cadet Newman
In October cadets from the squadron took part in the inter squadron swimming championships for No 2 Welsh Wing. The championships held in Mold were attended by 21 squadrons and lots of cadets. All of the cadets from the squadron who went enjoyed themselves but most especially Cadet T Newman (14) who brought home a Bronze medal for the butterfly and a Silver medal for the Individual medley. He said "I thoroughly enjoyed the competition and was very proud of myself for representing the squadron and my wing, I am very pleased with my performance and would like to improve on it by next year".
Cadet Newman has now been selected to represent No 2 Welsh Wing at the next level of the championships- inter region swimming - at RAF Cosford. Well done Cadet Newman.
