13 Miles in memory of Fallen
7 cadets aged between 13 and 17 walked from Rhos on Sea to Rhyl to raise sponsorship for the British Legion. The cadets, Llyr Jones, Harry Swettenham, Craig Neil, Luke Lister, Levi Stenson-Jones, Abraham Sellers and Callum Hughes covered the distance quickly and were escorted into the Arena at Rhyl by Prestaty Marching Band, where they were awarded certificates for completing the walk.
Following the cadets were 3 staff members the squadron's commanding officer Nina Thomas, Civilain Instructors Mike Thomas and Sian Law and and most importantly Mike and Nina's daughter 9 month old Elen Thomas, who completed the walk in her buggy.
